OK, maybe 45 years isn’t quite prehistoric, but still it’s getting up there…

Greetings everyone and welcome to another fresh episode of Accordion Noir radio, still steaming straight from Bruce’s home studio! (Indeed, I still have a couple of minutes to beat the radio to the punch and publish it online first!) This week we kick off this year’s Spring Member Drive for our parent station CFRO Co-op Community Radio at 100.5 fm, which has dutifully aired our program weekly since late 2006. If you would like to see us plunge boldly on for another 14-odd years, we entreat you to buy a membership or make a donation to the station. Co-op is the kind of place where vital, essential work (such as ours) is done that simply could not happen anywhere else — inadequately lucrative for commercial radio, not hip enough for campus radio. Please help us achieve our fundraising quota and keep the squeezy times rollin’! If your Apple or Android podcast widgets haven’t yet tipped you off, you can listen to this week’s episode online via the Internet Archive — here’s its playlist:

Thanks for reading us here (and hopefully listening to us, there), but if you find you want more, you can always keep up with us on Twitter (@AccordionNoir and @AccordionBruce), Instagram (@AccordionNoirFest), and Facebook at Accordion Noir fansthe Accordion Noir Festival, and the Vancouver Squeezebox Circle (suspended for the forseeable future!) Cheers & squeeze on!
