We’ve got to further rejigger the overall sequence of things, because the odds of this episode’s subject ever again being timelier than it is right now are close to nil.  Accordion Noir jumped on social media early and worked it exhaustively, using MySpace specifically to network extensively with accordion bands around the world.  To celebrate our achieving the castle-made-of-sand milestone of 5000 MySpace accordion friends (we can still remember our first MySpace friend, the NYC band Golem), we painstakingly pieced together episode number 122 of our radio program, consisting exclusively of music sourced and tediously extracted from MySpace accounts.  As we have just learned, this radio recording now may be the only place you can hear much of this music, as MySpace just owned up to having accidentally thrown out a dozen years’ worth of its user-uploaded content.  But us, we never throw out anything.  At its original online home (broken, but still up online — better than MySpace!) this episode achieved a high-water mark of 10599 listens, and you can hear it today (and hopefully forever) at its new online home at the Internet Archive.  Here’s its playlist:

This episode’s cover is a Boston parody ad for Schadenfreude Interactive’s smash hit video game Accordion Hero II. “More than a feelin!” (We gotta play Duckmandu’s version of that one of these episodes.)
