Accordion Noir radio playlist 2023-02-08: February in Training for February?

February 7, 2023

Our alt-accordion radio program’s host Bruce is once again going to be abroad on the night of our weekly broadcast, so he has pre-recorded this episode to air this Wednesday night. (You online listeners can get the drop on the ones limited to only experiencing our program over the radio.) If I am interpreting his episode title correctly (always more of a dark art than a science, but I do have lots of practice at it) he will be travelling by rail, but unlike previous trips taken via that transportation mode, I do not believe that they set the theme for the episode. Indeed, eyeballing the playlist, I am not convinced that the episode has a theme per se, beyond that of our standard melange of different styles of squeezebox music from different cultures all around the planet! Fortunately for us, it’s a mix that seems to work. If your Apple or Android (or plain old RSS) podcast subscriptions (strongly recommended!) haven’t alerted you to the episode’s availability yet, you can enjoy listening to it as digital audio courtesy of the Internet Archive. Here’s its playlist:
