Accordion Noir radio playlist 2012-12-12: Bruce’s Half-Birthday Faves

From ten years ago, here’s episode 315 of CFRO Co-Op Radio’s weekly hour-long Accordion Noir broadcast, where we share some of the wildest and woolliest alt-squeezebox music from all over the world.  In December we traditionally aired year-in-review content.  The previous week’s episode saw Rowan airing his favorites of the music we had aired over the course of 2012, but Bruce likes to do it differently, throwing the spotlight (well, the microphone) at his favorite accordion tunes that had been released that year.  In its time it was very current and now it poses an opportunity to get a good look back at what the state of the accordion art was like back in the year 2012, to consider how far we’ve come and to get a look at currents that are still ongoing and vital in our corner of the musical world.  If you missed it the first time around, you have a splendid opportunity here to listen to it again, as digital audio served up by the Internet Archive.  Here’s its playlist:
