Accordion Noir radio playlist 2022-12-14: Seven Sleeps ’til Solstice

December 16, 2022

Happy Solstice from Latvia!

This week’s episode of CFRO’s weekly, hour-long Accordion Noir broadcast was cooked up by your humble host Bruce while on the road to visit family, so if it helps you to cast things in a more holiday mindset you can imagine him pecking away at his laptop with headphones in the background of a scene from Planes, Trains and Automobiles. If your Apple or Android (or plain old RSS) podcast subscriptions (strongly recommended!) haven’t alerted you to the episode’s availability yet, you can enjoy listening to it as digital audio courtesy of the Internet Archive. Here’s its playlist:

AccNoir–2022-12-14, Seven Sleeps ’til Solstice

Great songs and tunes tonight. Hampered by Bruce being on the road and recording his parts in his folks’ bathroom to escape a weird ambient noise that seems to surround their whole building/neighbourhood. The bathroom was not as charismatic as the one Weird Al famously recorded in, but it was the room with the least windows, so most isolated from the mysterious noise. You can still hum along though. No fans were running, but everything sounds like it’s recorded in a wind-tunnel.

🤷🏼‍♂️

Great set though!
