From ten years ago, here’s episode 304 of CFRO Co-Op Radio’s weekly Accordion Noir Radio program, proudly broadcasting some of the wildest and most out-there squeezebox music from the four corners of the map.  On this occasion we had just wrapped up a major installment (the 5th!) of our annual Accordion Noir Festival, our creative director Katheryn Petersen having landed a major intercontinental headliner, Geoff Berner’s pal, Norway’s astounding Guro von Germeten, who was still around town long enough to join us live in the radio station following the festival!  Bruce also took the opportunity to hype up a VIFF screening of the Kimmo Pohjonen documentary Soundbreaker, but don’t bother calling in for the free tickets — you missed your screening!  If you somehow failed to listen to it the first time around — you sure missed out!  But fortunately, you can enjoy listening to this episode again as digital audio courtesy of the Internet Archive.  Because we had so many irons in the fire, this episode went without a complete playlist for an entire decade, but because we believe in our archival content, we have painstakingly gone back and connected the dots.  So now we can proudly announce that here, for the first time ever anywhere, is this episode’s complete playlist!
