Accordion Noir radio playlist 2022-06-15: Bandcamp for Justice, and Bruce is Gone to Leavenworth

AccNoir 2022-06-15

Bandcamp is at it again, with one of its special fundraising Bandcamp Friday initiatives passing along the company’s cut of sale profits to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund. It’s as good an excuse as any to buy accordion music from that platform, which offers vast realms of that good stuff, which also constitutes the musical content of this week’s episode of our weekly hour-long CFRO Co-Op Community Radio Accordion Noir broadcast! This week’s episode has been pre-recorded, freeing Bruce up to go peddle his wares at the nearby Leavenworth Accordion Festival, so if you find yourself in the Cascades, please swing by and say hello!
If your Apple or Android (or plain old RSS) podcast subscriptions (strongly recommended!) haven’t alerted you to the episode’s availability yet, you can enjoy listening to it as digital audio courtesy of the Internet Archive. Here’s its playlist:

AccNoir–2022-06-15, Bandcamp for Justice, and Bruce is Gone to Leavenworth

Support racial justice in the US this Friday, June 17, when Bandcamp is giving its profits to The NAACP Legal Defense Fund. All tonight’s artists are on #AccordionBandcamp so click the links below and a better world for artists and us all:

Hang out with Bruce at the Leavenworth International Accordion Celebration this weekend (Thurs-Sunday, June 16-19)! Get signed copies of his Accordion Revolution book, talk accordions, grab stickers and swag, and see some actual musicians too! I’ll be wearing a mask, you probably should too. Too many tours are being cancelled, really hurting musicians. (See Topette! on tonight’s show.)
