Accordion Noir radio playlist 2011-12-07: Best of Live Guests 2011

From ten years ago, here’s episode 262 of CFRO Co-Op Community Radio’s weekly Accordion Noir broadcast.  Our tradition, at least for the first decade, was to devote December to celebratory anniversarial programming, largely of a “year-in-review” nature: we’d have an episode dedicated to Rowan’s favorite songs we had aired that year, Bruce’s favorite songs that had been released that year, and the theme of this episode — a highlights reel of fond looks back at the live guests we had been fortunate enough to have join us in the studio for the radio program, all of which yielded unique recordings of performances that otherwise would never have otherwise existed!  Of course, this format of episode has been off the menu for the past two years, but in 2011 it was very much in effect.  At its original online home, this episode logged some 6328 listens, and thanks to the Internet Archive, you can continue enjoying it as digital audio today and on into the future.  Here’s its playlist:

Please, support Accordion Noir and Co-op Radio (without whom there wouldn’t be an Accordion Noir), by becoming a member. Go to http://www.AccordionNoir.org or http://www.CoopRadio.org and donate online. We really especially supporters who’ve become “sustaining” donors by arranging to donate a little bit every month. Those add up to a lot of support over the year. We love that most of all.

When you’re able to donate, please do add a comment that, “Accordion Noir sent me!” Then we know who loves squeezing.

Thanks much,
