Accordion Noir radio playlist 2011-07-13: Vancouver/Victoria Festivalization

August 2, 2021

From ten years ago, here’s episode 240 of CFRO Co-Op Community Radio’s weekly Accordion Noir broadcast.  This episode was looking ahead to accordion festivals upcoming in Western Canada in the autumn of 2011.  Notably, the Victoria Accordion Festival (now the World Accordion and Tango Festival) and our own Accordion Noir Festival.  They had good lineups!  (Some things never change.)  At its original online home, this episode logged some 6004 listens, and you can continue enjoying it today as streaming audio courtesy of the Internet Archive.  Here’s its playlist:

Happy spring-time, and please, support Accordion Noir and Co-op Radio (without whom there wouldn’t be an Accordion Noir), by becoming a member. Go to or and donate online. We really especially supporters who’ve become “sustaining” donors by arranging to donate a little bit every month. Those add up to a lot of support over the year. We love that most of all.

When you’re able to donate, please do add a comment that, “Accordion Noir sent me!” Then we know who loves squeezing.

Thanks much,

Bruce and Rowan
