Money. Go figure. Sometimes we promote accordionist fundraisers for various projects, sometimes when Bandcamp waives their fees, sometimes directing you to their album releases. Sometimes we book a hall and invite audiences to come and buy tickets to see them! And sometimes we simply play them on the radio, and through the magic of broadcasting, they also get paid that way. This week we did some of the latter, presenting a solid program of worthwhile Canadian songwriters in the alt and world music accordion idioms. They get paid, and it costs you nothing but your hour!
