Accordion Noir radio playlist 2020-06-25: Car-Free Accordion Grrls

You may have heard us making noise about our virtual video-streaming stage at this year’s socially-distanced online incarnation of the Car-Free Main Street Festival.  It all came together literally at the last minute, and even if not entirely as billed — was still a swell gathering of Canadian accordion talent!  I don’t know if you managed to catch the set, but if not, you still have a chance to experience it in a sense — we captured some of the audio from the performances by Dawn Zoe Simpson, Maria Dunn, Ingrid Gatin and Story, and built this week’s episode of our radio program around them!  (Hmm, actually, it appears that the Facebook video stream is still accessible, but it won’t be staying that way for too long, so watch it while you can!)  If you’re not already subscribed to our weekly broadcast through your Apple or Android podcast subscription, you can enjoy listening to it as digital audio via the Internet Archive.  Here’s its playlist:
