Just when you think you’ve successfully adapted to the shifting circumstances, they shift again, and you remain on uneasy footing. We thought we got a head-start on the isolation by pre-recording our weekly episodes of Accordion Noir radio before our radio station shut down live broadcasts, but then a turbulent week at the Internet Archive delayed the successful mirroring of last week’s episode for purposes of podcasting and digital streaming for nearly a week. But here we go, successfully uploaded at last — it’s last week’s episode of Accordion Noir, featuring the usual mix, plus some topical tunes (to make it a real pandemic party) and an early tribute to John Prine, who we have just learned has passed.
