Accordion Noir radio playlist 2020-03-18: Protecting Vulnerable Populations with Strict Social Distancing

AccNoir 2020-03-18

This week’s episode of Accordion Noir radio may be the last live broadcast we do for some time — in keeping with the quarantine theme of this week’s broadcast, Bruce is aspiring to keep his hands and mouth away from CFRO’s community microphones and mixing boards. But home listeners may never know the difference — the trick is that pre-recorded episodes give us the opportunity to fix mistakes before we go out over the air, so upcoming episodes may be conspicuously well polished. If your Apple or Android podcast subscriptions haven’t notified you yet, you can listen to this week’s episode as digital audio courtesy of the Internet Archive. Here’s its playlist!

(But first, a word from Bruce:) Hey all, Bandcamp.com is donating all profits to artists this friday, March 20, so I’ll be posting a bunch of Squeezebox acts on Twitter: https://twitter.com/AccordionBruce

Please jump in and support musicians who are losing all their live income.

(Not everything on my own list has squeezebox, but many of these are a good place to start: https://bandcamp.com/accordion-bruce

Support the artists on our Playlist!

Thanks for reading us here (and hopefully listening to us, there), but if you find you want more, you can always keep up with us on Twitter (@AccordionNoir and @AccordionBruce), Instagram (@AccordionNoirFest), and Facebook at Accordion Noir fansthe Accordion Noir Festival, and the Vancouver Squeezebox Circle (whose April get-together coming up has been pre-emptively cancelled for predictable reasons of public health, regrets!)  Cheers & squeeze on!
