AccNoir 2019-10-23

Greetings, ladies and germs! This week’s episode of Accordion Noir radio celebrates the 60th birthday of novelty pop accordion song stylist “Weird” Al Yankovic with a selection of accordionic novelty songs through the ages, as well as pointing the way forward to Geoff Berner’s November 1st launch party at the WISE Hall for his new album “Grand Hotel Cosmopolis”. It is ALSO part of the Fall member drive for our parent radio station CFRO Co-Op Community Radio, so if you support our critical work there and would like to see it continue, please get a donation in to the radio station and let them know how much you love Accordion Noir! That said, if you didn’t catch it over the airwaves or through your Apple or Google podcast subscriptions, you can listen to tonight’s episode online courtesy of the Internet Archive. Now here’s its playlist:
