Bruce is done with the “promoting his book” portion of his book tour, but has not yet achieved the “arrived back home” part of it, so Rowan held down the controls for this week’s episode of Accordion Noir radio, marking his longest spree on the air since Bruce broke his elbow slipping his bike on the ice a year or so ago. It’s all good fun, Bruce — who is possibly still travelling by train, a musical theme we have exhausted over the past couple of weeks — topped me up with a curated collection of songs about home, longing for home, arduous journeys, missing home and returning home. He misses his regular routine and broadcasting to all of you! But he had to put it off for one more week. Next week, surely he’ll be back in the CFRO control room.
