Accordion Noir radio playlist 2019-07-24: Portugal Noir with Joana Reis

Accordion Babe Joana Reis originates from Portugal, but relocated to our region a couple of years ago; we tapped her for a couple of functions — our 10th anniversary concert, last year’s Car Free Main stage — and always intended to host her on our radio program, but despite a couple of near misses something always came up. Well, last night we landed her! She joined Bruce at Co-Op radio and her feisty accordion playing set the station on fire! Well, no, but the station did suffer a building-evacuating fire alarm in the middle of our broadcast, something we had never before experienced in over a decade on the air.
