[Note from Bruce: This episode features my favorite Accordion Noir ad lib ever, when Rowan called from space as they sent accordions πŸͺ—  to the #ISS πŸ›°. (I love that there’s an πŸ›° emoji.)

[17:45, Also features race-horses πŸ‡]

Here’s a ten-year-old episode of Accordion Noir radio, number 121, sprung from the proverbial vaults.  It is our standard all-over-the-map mix with a slight bias toward klezmer, but with good representation of a variety of styles and approaches.  At its old internet home it measured some 10704 listens before the odometer burned out.  We don’t know if it will ever meet or exceed that total at its new online home at the Internet Archive, but we hold out hope.  You can help it mark one more notch in the tally by giving it a listen right now!  Here’s its playlist:

This episode’s cover is that ol’ International Space Station. Your own orbital squeeze-box.

If you go to NASA’s site, there’s this article which is actually about Louisiana “French-music” accordions!
