October is when we do some of our best work at Accordion Noir, with the distractions of our festival (mostly) behind us, a couple Fall Member Drive specials queued up in the hopper and the conclusion of another year of broadcasting within sight (we’re, what, eight episodes away from being on the air for 12 years?)  Times like this we can just roll into the radio station and bust out a top-notch program like a well-rehearsed reflex, full of Thanksgiving gratitude that we’re no longer airing from 2-3 in the morning.  Bruce’s playlist for last night’s episode was a good one, and if you missed it live you can enjoy it at your convenience as digital audio served up by the Internet Archive.  Here’s its playlist:
