Accordion Noir radio playlist 2018-06-20: Hot One!

I don’t think that the heat is actually a theme running through the songs Bruce selected for the playlist of this week’s episode of Accordion Noir radio — no “hot jazz” or blistering solos — but nonetheless it’s unseasonably warm and I sure wouldn’t be able to think of anything else when naming the episode either.  If anything the closest thing to a theme revealed in the following playlist is likely a current of classical music, but punctuated with the usual outsider stuff like Kokomo (I know, those “outsider” number one pop hits, possibly the highest in the charts the accordion — low in the mix — has ever been taken)  and an appearance by Le Vent du Nord, about as cold a name as a band can get!  But you can judge for yourself — read on, or listen to digital audio of the episode here!
