Accordion Noir radio playlist 2018-03-14: International Women’s Day III
I sat in with Bruce on the Accordion Noir radio program last night. So, Bruce, are we going to play anything Irish for St. Patrick’s Day? No — all-women playlist. Well OK, but… isn’t that the theme we used last week also? Shockingly, Bruce just didn’t care. And it’s very true — historically our broadcasts have skewed to the dudely side of things, so one week isn’t much of a start to turn the ship around. (Also, we play Celtic selections all year round, so it’s not like they’ve been omitted from the record.) I’m not sure, but I suspect that he plans to air a third playlist much like these first two next week also! Anyhow, if this sounds like a good thing to you (hint: it should), you can listen to it as digital audio. But first — the playlist!
