Accordion Noir radio playlist 2018-03-07: Women’s Week
In one of our oldest annual traditions, last night Bruce aired another of our semiregular International Women’s Day specials (I don’t have all the episodes at my disposal, so I don’t know if we’ve managed every year, but off the top of my head: 2007, 2008, 2011, 2017) which this year is somehow timelier than ever (despite, alas, being a perennially evergreen theme) which you can enjoy listening to as digital audio. And to enhance your enjoyment of what you’re hearing, here’s its playlist:

Thanks for reading us here (and hopefully listening to us, there), but if you find you want more, you can always keep up with us on Twitter (@AccordionNoir and @AccordionBruce), Instagram (@AccordionNoirFest), and Facebook at Accordion Noir fans, the Accordion Noir Festival, and the Vancouver Squeezebox Circle. And hats off to all the many, many essential women who’ve worked with us tirelessly at CFRO Co-op Community Radio, Spartacus Books and the Accordion Noir Society to help us advance our strange agenda. This one’s for you! Cheers & squeeze on!
Did you recieve our CD from New Zealand from my group WHISKEY BUSINESS called ONE FOOT IN THE GROOVE
I play the accordion in it (and Jen also plays accordion – see us on the cover)
Plus we do up to 4 part harmony.
