Accordion Noir radio playlist 2007-10-28: Taste of Co-op Halloween-ish special!!!

October 30, 2017

A rump 48th appearance on the air, this was a 20-minute taste of Accordion Noir as part of a drive to expose Co-Op Radio listeners to other programs not part of their regular listening routine.  (Ten years later, of course we’re a regular institution on the calendars of all CFRO listeners!  I’m not sure why the city hasn’t proclaimed a Vancouver Accordion Noir day, it must just be a bureaucratic oversight.)  Also it’s a little bit spooky in deference to the time of year, so if last week’s freaky accordion playlist didn’t quite fill your loot bag, this can help get your Hallowe’en week starting off on the right bony foot.  At its original online home this fragmentary episode was enjoyed some 13355 times … we hope it gets more of that love at its new online home.  Now prepare yourselves — here’s the playlist!

This is where Mark from the Gospel Train show (right before us Friday nights) hosts 20 minute versions of all the other shows on CFRO, and we beg for money for this (really) public radio. If you donate, we’ll give you prizes! (See below, below.)

Duckmandu (Aaron Seeman) — Stealing Peoples’ Mail — Fresh Duck for Rotting Accordionists (2005) — San Francisco, California, USA —

Thanks for reading us here (and hopefully listening to us, there), but if you find you want more, you can always keep up with us on Twitter (@AccordionNoir and @AccordionBruce), Instagram (@AccordionNoirFest), and Facebook at Accordion Noir fans, the Accordion Noir Festival, and the Vancouver Squeezebox Circle. Cheers & squeeze on!
