Toward the end of October 2007 we upped the ante of alt-accordion and aired three episodes, numbers 45-47, of alt-polka as part of that year’s Fall Member Drive at our radio station.  This little PSA / PRA recording (radio jargon — public service announcement / pre-recorded announcement) enjoyed a staggering 14218 times at its original host, now available over here, just sets the stage for what follows.

This is a very short podcast!

We’ve already been asked once not to break records on the air. We’re all about juvenilia here, but maybe we give in too easily to the mainstream fear of schmaltz?
