Planning a music festival is kind of like some kind of strange dream right up until the moment when you’re sitting there in the radio studio with festival performers promoting shows happening later that week.  Yow!  This year, to stir up hype for #NoirFestX — the 10th annual Accordion Noir Festival — Bruce had a chance to sit in at the mixing board while two most distinguished special guests, Antti Paalanen from Finland and Douglas Schmidt (our first-ever live guest on Accordion Noir Radio, from way back in 2007)  now visiting from Vietnam.  Making things more interesting, we had the unexpected opportunity to continue broadcasting after our customary hour was up, so he continued plumbing the weird and wonderful depths of recordings of our festival performers.  For a limited time, you can hear the first hour, and then the second, as a digital audio stream … or you can enjoy it all in one go as a downloadable MP3 for posterity.  And now: the playlist!
