Accordion Noir Classic episode number 25 — from May 18th, 2007 — had us once again featuring live guests in our fresh pre-midnight time slot, trying to make the most of it… this time, with the not-long-for-this-world (disbanding in 2008 with the release of their second album — still for sale online, along with their first, both of them worth every penny!) local alt-trad ensemble Tarkin!  This episode was enjoyed some 3175 times at its original online home, and we hope that with the revival of the Star Wars franchise, future generations of confused filkers continue to enjoy the sweet strains of Tarkin newly available for MP3 download over at the Internet Archive.  This playlist, while somewhat patchy, will make some grand gestures toward explaining to listeners what is tickling their ears:
