Accordion Noir radio playlist 2017-03-01: Trans-Kids Rock!

March 27, 2017

We’ll be the first to admit that March hasn’t gun quite as smoothly as we’d hoped, but fortunately in the eyes of posterity any disruption that is not permanent is only temporary.  So here we have for you today a “new” episode of modern Accordion Noir Radio from earlier this month — March 1st, in fact!  We looked at the calendar and at the wide array of accordionic occasions upon us — Mardi Gras, our local Festival du Bois — and concluded that the time was ripe to air a fundraiser program to benefit trans youth: as an eternal constant, the time is always now! Bruce extended a matching-funds pledge, which is still in effect: up to $250 for listener-provided proof of donation to support Trans Lifeline or the Trans Assistance Program.  But even if you make no donation, you can still enjoy our heckin’ excellent LGBT+ playlist, which you can listen to a digital audio stream of over here, and for local mp3 downloads you can pick them up at the Internet Archive.  The list of songs played follows:
