As you may have noticed, we’ve been raising a huge cloud of dust refurbishing our (over 500) back recordings to make the complete Accordion Noir Radio archives of the past decade available to future generations in their most comprehensive form ever, with expanded artwork and blanks filled in playlists… but in all the hubbub our ongoing regular new broadcasts are getting a little lost in the mix.  Here you can enjoy a digital audio stream — or now (everything old is new again!) a direct MP3 download for local enjoyment and long-term storage — of our broadcast from two weeks ago.  I don’t think there was any particular theme to the playlist, except our usual mandate to demonstrate the massive versatility of the squeezebox in all the wildly variant styles and genres to which it can be applied!  And to enhance your listening enjoyment… here it is, the playlist!

Microsoft Songsmith – Crazy Train Polka
Gogol Bordello – Ultimate
Arcade Fire – Old Flame
Cherish the Ladies – Broken Wings
Roy Newman – Boog-A-Boo Baby
Hey Marseilles – Rainfall
Ernie Felice Quartet – Power House (after Raymond Scott)
Alejandro Diaz Jr. – La Frontera
Those Darn Accordions – The Janitor Knows
La Bottine Souriante – Reel du Forgeron
Angel Corpus Christi – Nature Girl
Story of Isaac – Daniel Kahn
Palesteena – Alex Meixner
Joseph Macerollo – Fantasy on Themes of the Past

Thanks for reading us here (and hopefully listening to us, there), but if you find you want more, you can always keep up with us on Twitter (@AccordionNoir and @AccordionBruce), Instagram (@AccordionNoirFest), and Facebook at Accordion Noir fans, the Accordion Noir Festival, and the Vancouver Squeezebox Circle. Cheers & squeeze on!
