And here we are again with a more contemporary episode of Accordion Noir, this one was our last of the year 2016 — the last before Bruce’s… accident, in which our humble host attempts to come to terms with the conclusion of a seemingly culturally ruinous year, through the medium of… playlist curation. (Also, he nods to the fact that two years running, we have had a wager where one of us will treat the other to a screening of that year’s holiday Star Wars movie, depending on whether I manage to come up with a published Accordion Noir Gift Guide blog post. Despite my strong start, before there were any films at stake, he’s won, two years running!)
