Alec K Redfearn & The Eyesores: 5-year-old Mosh Pit at the Library!

Alec K. Redfearn and the Eyesores doing their number, “Fire Shuffle/Black Tar” live at the Rochambeau Library, Providence RI, home of HP Lovecraft.  They did not have music like this at story-time when I was a kid.  Might have saved me years of work getting where I am today.

Watch for kids moshing when the camera pans left at 5:00 and 7:00.  Sitting down in the middle of the dancers, the one kid with the black hair is planning his future as a noise accordionist.  Yes, that fuzzed out electric guitar sound is Redfearn’s accordion, shredding.

We’ve heard from Alec Redfearn before with his band the Seizures.

Also, Hi. Haven’t had many big posts lately.  I’ve been sending short notices out on Twitter.  (Basque sports metaphors = accordions!)

Working on my book, I’m trying to put together the story around vaudeville rock star Guido Deiro and his confusing possible/impossible marriage with Mae West.  Has me stumped for a bit but I’m gaining on it.
