Pistolera needs your help to make a record, for the Children!
Brooklyn-based band Pistolera, who we’ve loved for years, has developed a kids’ music alter-ego Moona Luna. Their 2010 record Piñata Party was innovative (english/spanish) offering for bilingual parents of young kids (like band leader Sandra Velasquez).
Now they’re recording a second album and mounting the hot new grass-roots fund-raising campaign to get the project finished. Donors get copies of the record, and bonus stuff like posters, or even a private concert! (But you have to live in New York. “Why can’t you just go to New York?” says my kid.)
Here is their video with what my ten-year-olds say is a terrifying cow. “Awesomely terrifying,” they add, so don’t let that keep you from anteing up for their project.
